Are media passes available?
SSDP welcomes news media representatives who want to provide coverage of the conference. All Media Pass applicants must currently be employed or on assignment by the outlets they are representing. For eligible applicants, a Media Pass may be provided as a courtesy to cover the official event. It permits access to the event during programming and does not include meals or access to the dance party which follows the award ceremony. SSDP is not obligated to provide a Media Pass and will approve requests based on its judgment of eligibility. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with information about your beat, outlet, and plans for coverage to be considered.
Are one-day passes available?
Yes. Please email email@example.com for instructions on how to purchase your one-day pass.
I’ll be speaking at the conference. Do I have to register?
Yes. Everyone who will attend the conference must register. If you are a non-student, non-alumnus speaker who will only attend your own session, you may register at no cost. Ask your SSDP staff liaison to provide you with a discount code to use.
What’s the refund policy?
Refunds may be requested through Eventbrite until 30 days before the event (2/28/19). After that, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis upon written request sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, just change the name, contact information and other attendee question responses in EventBrite to the person who will attend.
